I’m testing a install of V3 BB plugin and having an issue with the posting page. the set up says https://********/wpbb/jobfeed/ the plugin is installed and I’m using Postman to send test xml. Is there a stage i’m missing as the posting URL isn’t being recognised ( 404’ing) – if I try the old posting url https://********/?wpbb=broadbean it works.
I’ve checked the plugin version it was 3, however in the setting page it says
‘Version: , written by Highrise Digital – i.e. the version number is missing.
    Thanks
    Paul

    Hi there,

I think the issue with the posting URL could be as simple as refreshing your site’s permalinks. If you visit the Settings > Permalinks and click save without making changes. Then please try the posting URL again. You can try it in the browser and if it is working you should get a username/password error.

This issue in the settings page I think is caused because you have upgraded from 2.2.4 to version 3.0 – nothing you have done wrong. Could you confirm that you did update the plugin in the admin please?

Hi, thanks for the fast response.
Just refreshed permalinks as suggested and are now hitting the url perfectly.
We updated from Version 2.2.2 to 3.0. Pretty sure we updated in admin as this was a copy of the live site.
Thanks for the help – great support.
    Thanks

Thanks for confirming the update. This is a little bug in the plugin as the version on that settings screen is pulled from a database option that gets set on plugin activation.

Of course, when you update the plugin it is already active and therefore does not get set in the database and hence nothing is being outputted on that screen

I will add a bug over on the Github repository to make that change in a coming release but it is not a pressing issue at the moment.
