Issue With Plugin That May Slow Site Down

I’m doing everything I can to get my site to load under 2 seconds.
In GTMetrix I’m getting an error message concerning this plugin.
“There is 1 plain text component that should be sent compressed”
/wp-content/plugins/simple-social-icons/font/ssi-icomoon.woff?ssi-texv9a
It’s the second longest loading item on my site at 946ms
Is there a known fix for this?
