• Hello,

On two of my websites, there are features that are provided as part of the themes which seem to “block” the WP YouTube Lyte plugin from working correctly. On both sites, the following is showing up as plain text on the pages and not being converted into players:
    httpv://youtu.be/CihpJVkw0rQ
    httpv://youtu.be/-8oZHV3fzN0

    Site 1: https://www.acim.biz/a-course-in-miracles-book-acim
    WordPress Ver. 3.5.1
    Theme- Lucid
Name of feature: Layout Builder/Page Builder
Desired location of video: Directly under main header image

    Site 2: https://www.un-curso-en-milagros.org/la-casa-de-milagros
    WordPress Ver. 3.9.1
    Theme- iTheme2
Name of feature: Themify Custom Panel/Page Builder
Desired location of video: About halfway down the page, directly above the text “Milagros Vivientes viniendo a MEXICO”
Notes: As you will see, there is another YouTube video embedded on this page, which works using the standard iframe embed code.

Any advice would be received gratefully!

    Thanks,
    Jason

Well, if I understand correctly, Page Builder extends the widgets-principle to the entire page. That means that those page-builder-pages may not trigger the the_content WordPress filter, in which case WP YouTube Lyte indeed will not get triggered.

A possible solution; if the Page Builder widgets include WordPress’s widget_text filter, then you can use Lyte’s API to act on those widgets as well as shown first example in lyte_helper.php_example.

    hope this makes sense ??
