Issue with page URL getting changed

  • We had a staff member change a URL of a page on our wordpress site. They then created a new page with the same URL of the previous page. Not sure why they did this but now they want to undo it. When I remove the ‘new’ page and change the old page back to the former URL, but trying to load that page I get a “This webpage has a redirect loop” error.

    How can I fix this?
