Issue with “no results” text in Spanish

  • When I get no results using my site in English, the plugin shows “No results”, but when using the Spanish page I get “Texto cuando no hay resultados”, which means “No results text”.

    It’s like the plugin is showing the text you put in the options instead of the actual text I want it to show.

    You can change the language on the top right corner of the page.

    Hi,

    I looked up the source, but it seemt to be correct.
    Make sure that you translated the texts within the WPML string translations where the labels are “Did you mean text” and “No results text”.

    @leandroprz Eso es un marcador de posición traducido. Puedes cambiarlo en los ajustes del plugin, en /wp-admin/admin.php?page=asl_settings#403

    @wpdreams that was my first thought so I checked WPML but everything seems to be fine. I’m getting the Spanish translation directly from WordPress translations and WPML is reading the .mo/.po Spanish files. Everything looks fine there.

    @fernandot I added text to the placeholder, but the issue is that the placeholder is not showing up, instead, the plugin’s option text is showing up.

    I looked at the Spanish translation since I think the issue is there (because in English I have no issues), but everything seems to be fine, so I don’t knoow what’s going on here.

    Hi,

    Maybe WPML is mixing up the two texts, as the text identifier is indeed the same. I will change one or the other for the upcoming release, so it should be cleared.
