Issue with mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 40 seconds [ VPS host refuse to inc.]

    I have a managed VPS. When I’m checking the server errors, I can see there’s something like this.

    [Sun Aug 18 15:24:09 2013] [warn] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xx] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 40 seconds

    Then I request to increase the timeout, then they mentioned it’s not recommended. Also mentioned it’s my site code issue. Is it not necessary thing or what is the side effect of it? Looks like some backup plug-ins not working.
