Hello. I’ve been using wptouch 3.1.5 and I noticed an annoying issue regarding the Mobile/Desktop switch button. When I enter the website with my iphone, I can see on the footer of mobile version a switch button. When I click on it, I am redirected to the desktop version. However, on the desktop version, the “switch back to mobile” button appears, but it seems to be blocked. Could you give me any tips on how to solve this I would be pleased.

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: I’m using Safari for iphone , but when I use the mobile version for PC, it works in INTERNET EXPLORER, but NOT ON GOOGLE CHROME.

It looks like your desktop theme has a markup problem –?in the footer (class footer-bottom) there is an unclosed <font> tag:

    <h1><font size="3">Windows 8 | Android | Apple | Windows Phone</h1> </div>

Once you remove that you may find the problem goes away.

I removed that tag totally but the problem persists. I didn’t remove </div> though.. It seems as if it was a problem related to z-index, but I haven’t found it yet.

Sorry for double post, but I have already solved the problem ?? !!

It was a z-index problem not recognized by all browsers. I had a background-cover class in the code which covered all the page, and that caused the link to be covered by a transparent panel.

    Thank you for your help!

I know this is resvolved but I am having a similar issue. After the latest update, the switch to mobile button disappeared so if anyone switches to the desktop.version they are unable to switch back (I don’t know for sure, I view my site as the desktop version).
