• Hey all,

    I’m using the Evolve (free) theme – and have created a child theme based on this (newbie). I have an issue with the correct pages showing in the top menu bar.

    When I activate ‘Evolve’ (parent) the Pages in the top menu bar are correct and as configured in Appearance >> Menu’s.

    But when switching to the child theme – they get messed up – and show different pages. Any idea why?

    Here’s the style.css code I have in the child theme:
    ——————————————————–

    /*
    Theme Name: evolve-child
    Theme URI: https://theme4press.com/evolve
    Version: 1.2.6
    Description: My Child Theme for Evolve – created 27th Nov 2011
    Author: Theme4Press
    Author URI: https://theme4press.com
    Tags: two-columns, flexible-width, sticky-post, threaded-comments, microformats, custom-menu, black, blue, white, dark, right-sidebar, custom-header, custom-menu, theme-options, translation-ready
    License: GNU General Public License v2.0
    License URI: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
    Template: evolve
    */

    @import url(“../evolve/style.css”);

    ————————————————-

    Note: This is the only file I have in the child theme at the moment.

    Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks,
    Patrick
