    You should use exclude feature to fix the problem.

    Hi Emre,
    can you give me a clue how to do this? In the settings I only find information on excluding individual pages.
    Or does this also apply to categories and can I exclude a whole category like this:
    https://www.mysite.nl/category/nieuws/(*)

    You can exclude all the categories like that.

    Contains: category/nieuws

    Hi Emre,

    as ‘category’ and the category name are not included in the url leading to the post, unfortunately this does not work.
    Does this mean I will have to exclude every single post, or should I change the permalink structure by adding a categorybase?

    If the urls do not contain a common word, you cannot exclude them with 1 exclude rule. maybe you need to changed the perma links.
