Issue with magic tag for number input

Hi,

I have a 2-page form with some fields on page 1 and an html field on page 2 to summarize fields that user has input. Other fields work fine but only 2 number-type fields have trouble. I set default values for those 2 and expect if user doesn’t key in any thing, those default values will appear in summary html field (I use magic tag %field_slug%). In fact, they don’t.

So how can I get the magic tags display default values for those 2 number fields?
