issue with mac .files

  • My site was imported from my Mac to the hosting its currently at. With the import came a large number of ‘Mac invented’ .whatever files. These have been there for awhile but suddenly wordfence is complaining about them in the scans. Its clogging my entire scan directory, hiding any ‘real’ alerts. I don’t see any way to ‘mass ignore’ or am I missing something? I don’t have time to go through and delete every .file at the moment (I did get some) and don’t want to get hacked before I get to it and miss the alert because wordfence is suddenly obsessed with them.
