• I updated the plugin yesterday and my website layout didn’t look right. Every post looked zoomed out and words and images were cut off the page. Once I disabled this plugin, it fixed the layout immediately.

I looked in the WordPress logs and found this error, can you please take a look?

  • Could you try if deactivating Subscribe to Comments Reloaded – then reactivating solves it? Somehow it solved the error for me (though I don’t know if it was the same error).
I deactivated it after customer complaints that my website became unusable via smartphone (figured out that it must have been the update as nothing else had changed) – then back home used my computer to reactivate and wanted to see the error console – but could not replicate any error.

Yes! Now it works, after deactivating-activating…

    Hi @rosatamm @jcbsep

For the temporary solution before its fixed within the plugin in the upcoming update, can you visit StCR -> Options section and then just save the changes and see if that helps you out to resolve this issue?

    @rosatamm:

We too am using a Genesis site and can confirm that the site works following the update. Issue on our side was server-side cache. Attempt either to purge your server cache and/or deactivating and then reactivating as others have done, which should also clear the cache for that specific plugin. After doing so, also consider clearing browser cache or employing an incognito window to test.

    Good luck!

It was an easy fix. Thanks.

@wpkubehelp It worked so far! Thank you! ??

I also got the same error and the layout went berserk:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: in_array(): Argument #2
($haystack) must be of type array, bool given in
    /home/stu456/public_html/wp-content/plugins/
    subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/wp_subscribe_reloaded.php:1540

I tried deactivating-reactivating, tried Private browser mode to test and also saved the Options page as suggested above but it didn’t work. I’ve had to completely deactivate this plugin.

    I am using:
    Wordpress 5.9.3
    Subscribe to Comments Reloaded 220502
    PHP 8.0.18
