Issue with Jetpack

  • Right now I have Jetpack “Publicize” turned on which adds share links below the content of my post, works great, but it appears to have some JS conflict with Selection Sharer, disabling your pop-up on posts (where Publicize is implemented).

    Also your plugin description mentioned Facebook implementation but I do not see that.

    Lastly, others have asked about an interface to select the networks to be displayed, is that something that will still be happening in the near future?

    Hey,

    could you tell me what URL you’re running on so I can see potential errors in the console to see what might be going wrong with Jetpack?

    As mentioned in the release notes of version 0.2 for Facebook you need the following ??

    Facebook share functionality requires a Facebook App ID, be sure to include fb:app_id meta tag information otherwise the Facebook share button will not show

    Currently the focus is mostly on the Inbound Rocket plugin:

    Which already has some more features for selection sharer as well, quick development fixes right now for selection sharer are things which I can always quickly do, but I’m sadly just only having so much time in a day. I’m planning on backporting items from Inbound Rocket selection sharer back again though.
