    Hey everyone,

when I try to update a quiz with instructor feedback it just says “updating” then it returns to the same screen, when I check the students quiz results, no instructor feedback is shown.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Anyone?

    Hello @whynotgus,

Please flush cache from your active cache plugin and temporarily deactivate your cache plugin. This shall resolve the issue. You can then look for an option from your cache plugin to reduce cache lifespan to 48 hours max and disable cache for logged in users. If you are using Jetpack then please don’t use any additional page optimize or cache plugin.

Hello @munayam , This site has like almost no plugins, where would the plugin you are referring be

    The only plugins installed are

    • LMS Tutor
    • Backup WordPress
    • Bulk Media Register
    • Gutenverse
    • Hello Dolly
    • Media From FTP
    • Password Protected
    • Quick Demo Import
    • Yoast SEO

Is one of those the offending plugins?

    Hello @whynotgus,

Can you tell us which theme is active? Cache plugins can sometimes be found within must-use and/or drop-ins folder. Cache is also enabled from your hosting server.

@munayam the theme currently in use is called LMS Education by Misbahwp, version 4.3,

I am going to attempt to run the default theme on the off chance that is the conflicting issue, I will be back to report my results

    Hello @whynotgus,

Do you mean you tried after activating a default WordPress theme and after deactivating your 3rd party plugins? Please write to support at themeum dot com along with your site health info. We will then follow up accordingly. Thanks

@munayam , Can you explain what you need exactly from the site, and why are we moving off the public forums?

    Hello @whynotgus,

Not everything can be solved in the forum. Sometime we need to take a deeper look.

Meanwhile these steps will help you rule out a possible theme/plugin conflict.

    1. First, clear cache completely then temporarily deactivate all your third-party plugins and check whether that resolves the issue. Specially deactivate page optimizing/cache plugins. You can start with the basic plugins- Tutor + woocommerce.
    2. Next, activate a default WordPress theme e.g. twentytwenty
    3. Next, activate your 3rd party plugins one by one to find the one that may be causing a conflict.
    4. Finally activate your own custom parent theme (not child theme) to see if it was due to a conflicting custom them.

Just a heads up everyone, the support for this plugin is very lackluster. While we cannot say what the total issue was, but they did very little to help fix it. Ultimately the plugin stayed broken, but they did attempt to fix it. Again use caution before paying for this, as support will probably not have your back!

    Hello @whynotgus,

Sorry to see you disappointed so quickly. If you have enabled caching from your hosting server, our plugin may malfunction due to hard compression of Tutor LMS js files. I remember you have cloudflare enabled which acts like a second web server and blocks js files that are required for our plugin to function properly so it’s not the plugin to blame and not everyone uses cloudflare to cache everything.

You can disable caching for specific Tutor LMS pages or for Tutor LMS Js files to resolve this.
