    Hello,

I’m experiencing two issues with the Post Carousel block in the Essential Blocks plugin for Gutenberg:

    1. Infinite Loop Expanding Page Width:
      • When I enable Infinite Loop, the page width keeps increasing infinitely, making the layout break.
    2. Carousel Stops at the End:
      • When using navigation arrows, once the last post is reached, the carousel stops instead of looping back to the first post.
      • The slides disappear, leaving an empty carousel.

I am using WordPress 6.7.2 with Ollie theme and the latest version of Essential Blocks.

I’d appreciate any guidance on resolving these issues. Thank you!

    Hello @ketabshop

Thank you for reaching out. I’ve tested both issues on my end, but I wasn’t able to replicate them—enabling the Infinite Loop option didn’t cause the page layout to break, and the navigation arrows correctly loop back to the first post. See the screencast here: https://d.pr/v/IoOjGb

To assist you further, could you please provide the following details?

    • The Essential Blocks version you’re using.
    • A page URL where the issue occurs.
    • A screen recording demonstrating the problems.

These details will help me investigate more accurately and find a suitable solution. Looking forward to your response!

Thank you for your response and for testing the issue. I conducted further investigations and discovered that these problems only occur when the site language is set to Persian (Farsi). Updated Issue Details:

    Post Disappear

I have recorded a screen capture demonstrating these issues. You can view it here:

      Requested Details:

      • Essential Blocks version: 5.3

Since I am testing on localhost, I don’t have a public URL to share.

Could you please check if this issue is related to RTL (Right-to-Left) languages? It seems to be affecting Persian but not English.

Looking forward to your feedback. Thank you!

      Hello @ketabshop

Thank you for your detailed report and for sharing the screen recording. I appreciate your patience while we investigate this.

I have tested the issue on my end and was able to reproduce it when the site language is set to Persian (Farsi). It seems to be related to RTL (Right-to-Left) language support. I have already informed our development team about this, and they will look into it further.

Please allow us some time to investigate and address the issue. I will keep you updated as soon as we have any progress or a fix available.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

      Hello,

Thank you for your prompt response and for looking into this issue. I truly appreciate your support and the efforts of your development team.

In addition to the issue we discussed, I have noticed that in post-grids, when the site language is set to Persian (Farsi), the text and title alignment remain left-aligned instead of adjusting to right-to-left formatting. Perhaps ensuring proper RTL support for post grids could be considered as part of the improvements.

Please let me know if you need further details, and I’d be happy to assist. Looking forward to your updates.

      Hello,

Thank you for providing the development version to address the RTL issue in the EB Post Carousel. I tested it, and while the issue is resolved in some cases, I have discovered a new problem:

In RTL mode, the arrow icons are flipped in the wrong direction.

When the site language is set to Persian (Farsi) but the WordPress admin user language is set to English, the issue reappears again. The post carousel disappear , and the same infinite width expansion problem occurs.

This issue affects all visitors, even if they are not logged in. It seems that the language settings in the WordPress admin panel impact the frontend behavior of the carousel.

Could you please investigate this further? Let me know if you need any additional details.

Thank you for your continuous support!

      Hello,

Thank you for providing the updated version of the plugin. I tested it, and I have noticed the following issues:

      1. Carousel Visibility Issue Inside Row/Column Blocks:
        • The issue with the carousel disappearing seems to be fixed in normal usage.
        • However, when the Post Carousel block is placed inside a Row or Column block, the issue reappears, and the carousel does not display correctly.
        • I have recorded a?screen capture?demonstrating these issues. You can view it here: [video](https://jmp.sh/s/Xj4jqcoeuJko3W0twEHD)
      2. RTL Text Alignment Issue in Post Carousel:
        • When the site language is set to Persian (Farsi), the text and title alignment remain left-aligned instead of adjusting to right-to-left formatting.
        • This issue persists in the latest version and affects the overall RTL compatibility of the block.

Could you please check these issues? Let me know if you need any additional details. I’d be happy to assist further.

Thank you for your continuous support!

      Hello @ketabshop

Thank you for your detailed report on the Post Carousel issues. We truly appreciate your patience and collaboration.

We have informed our development team, and we have identified the issue with the Post Carousel block when placed inside a Row or Column block. Our team is currently reviewing this to find a resolution. However, we were unable to access the video you shared. Could you please provide the video again so we can further investigate the issue?

Regarding RTL text alignment, currently, our blocks do not support RTL formatting. However, we acknowledge this as a necessary improvement and will consider it as a feature request for future updates.

Please let us know if you need any further clarification, and feel free to share the video link again for a more thorough review.
