Issue with IE 8

Upgrading usually does not fix browser related layout errors.
Cleaning up code does.
So go here too see several html and css errors.

With the html errors start at the top of the list since the first error can have generated the next one.

Looks better now. Only this subpage https://remakingmemories.com/?page_id=194 (weddings) has a problem in the code. It is missing the sidebar completely; not shifted.

Is there another template selected for that one in page/edit? Compare to https://remakingmemories.com/?page_id=194 (births).

I haven’t been able to fix the sidebar issue yet. I ran my url through https://www.xhtml-css.com/ and it had 27 errors. I tried fixing the first one and ended up with 2 headers on the site. I have no idea what I’m doing, so I’m going to have to dedicate some more time (and frustration) to figuring it out. I didn’t notice the weddings page issue until you mentioned it. I’ll try to fix that too! Thanks!
