Of course I can’t reproduce it right now. However I can show you a screenshot of the fact that the image slider shows a grey banner:

They grey banner can also be reproduced in IE on desktop

I just check on my mobile chrome and no grey space at the bottom of hero section.

Please try to delete the browser cache and check again.
