Yes. sure but I don’t know how to attach the screenshots here? I don’t see any link to attach them.
regarding the simple CSS classes, I don’t remember using any. Can you tell me how can I ascertain that? I think I once used some custom settings like disabling the sidebar, etc when I was using another theme (cream magazine) which I no longer use. nonetheless, kindly tell me how to remove all the special classes that are affecting the TOC on that post?
thanks for the prompt reply, Marc.

Just upload them somewhere else. Much easier would be to make a new post with a new toc. Try to replicate the problem and tell me what kind of heading hierarchy your posts’ headlines have:

    h2. sdsfd
    h3. asadad
    h2. adasd

    and so on.

I can’t replicate the problem here.

But it works on that sample page. =) What did you change there?

ya, now it worked on the main post as well after I did some random tweaks and revisions like removing some Arabic scripts, redoing the listings, etc. I also copied the whole content to that new page and then again copied from there to paste it on the original post.

Thank you Marc for your time and efforts.
Needless to say, Simple TOC is just amazing and it offers incredible navigation inside the page and is also super compatible with the amp.
    best wishes and regards.
