    Hello,

I am designing a nice menu for desktop using the grid layout. It automically inserts the pages from the wp menu (menu items) so I can place them as I want within my columns.

But this doesn’t fit the mobile menu. So I use the “do not display on mobile” option.

Now I thought I can create a new row and place the menu items again and disable the display for desktop. So that the menu content is not double and always optimised for the view.

Now comes the issue: I cannot import/set menu items. They are automatically set and cannot be duplicated…

    Is this a bug?

I am using the latest version of the plugin on the latest version of WP.

    Thank you for help/hints
    WBW

    Hi WBW,

If you want quite different views for the sub menu on desktop and mobile, the only way to do it would be to add 2 top level menu items (one for desktop, one for mobile) and configure those independently. We do not have the flexibility in the menu system to automatically create/duplicate different views between desktop and mobile.

We have some more information with screenshots on how to do that here: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/switch-mega-menu-to-flyout-menu-on-mobile/

Ok, that is a way to go. Fortunately I have only one navigation menu item with such a complex structure.. Thank you a lot for your quick reply!
