Issue with Gravity Forms

  • When ASYNC is enabled, it only works with DEFER on this site. When I use ASYNC, the home page does content does not load (using Divi theme). So, I am using DEFER, which works, but it won’t work with Gravity Forms (ASYNC doesn’t work either) The form submits, but it does not “process” and display the confirmation message.

    I tried to EXCLUDE the Gravity Forms plugin, but it doesn’t work either. So, I’ve disabled ASYNC for now until I resolve.

    I also tried to EXCLUDE jQuery, but that doesn’t seem to work either.

    I did have a conversation with Frank some time ago about Gravity Forms and Autoptimize, but not about this scenario when it’s working with Autoptimize, but not with ASYNC.

    so when jQuery is excluded and AsyncJS is set to defer, what JS errors do you see on the browser console Tony?
