• Hello,
I am using the latest version of WordPress, and after updating the Forminator Forms plugin to its latest version (1.41.1), I encountered an issue in the admin panel’s post and page editing screens. Specifically, when using the Classic Editor, the input field height has become very narrow, and the editor content is no longer scrollable. I tested this by switching themes, but the issue persisted, so it doesn’t seem to be related to theme compatibility.
To troubleshoot further, I deactivated all other plugins and tested with only the Classic Editor and Forminator Forms (1.41.1) enabled, but the same issue occurred. I confirmed this behavior on Windows 11 using both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and the result was consistent across both browsers.
When I rolled back Forminator Forms to version 1.40.0, the issue was resolved, so I am currently keeping it at version 1.40.0. Could you please look into this matter and let me know if there’s a solution or update planned? I’d appreciate your assistance.
    Thank you,

    Hi @artwavetomy

I hope you are doing well today.

It seems some information is missing here. If you use on the site Classic Editor, then it means the edit mode of a page or post can display only Forminator shortcode and there is no way to preview the form there. In short, can you clarify once more those issues:

    • the input field height has become very narrow
    • the editor content is no longer scrollable

It will be good if you could share screenshots of those issues or record a video, so that we could be on the same page with both of those issues. Please upload those screenshots or video to Google Drive and share a link in your next reply.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hello,

I am here because I have the same problem and after disabling Forminator the problem is solved.

The problem is that, in the classic editor, the window does not expand automatically when the user scrolls along the page using the mouse.

I have recorded a short video where you can see the problem (video1). The only way to extend the window is to switch to the code view and then back to the visual view.

At the moment I have rolled back to version 1.40.0 and the problem has disappeared (video2).

    Video1 (with Forminator 1.41.1 active): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b3ABQCxkDNyp6MjS4fC6hWnqGsYZM_Ex/view?usp=sharing

    Video2 (with Forminator 1.40.0): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SnT3i5ZfixvoPudPEeHCBViytssB9J0C/view?usp=sharing

Thank you very much in advance.

    Jorge.

Hi, same exact problem here. Can you please fix it asap, we really need to have this solved. The problem is directly with Forminator Plugin. Please test it with any classic editor. Thank you.

    Hi @artwavetomy @caw67 @ibiza69 @jorgeletralia

Thank you for all the additional details. I was able to replicate this issue and I already reported this as a bug to our Forminator Team. Right now only available fix is to downgrade Formiantor to the 1.40 version or as mentioned by @jorgeletralia switch to text mode and then to visual again, which does the trick.

Next update should contain a fix for this.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

switch to text mode and then to visual again doesnt work!

    Hi @caw67,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We have identified this as a confirmed bug and have reported it to our development team. They are currently working on a fix, which will be included in a future update. At this time, we are unable to provide an estimated release date.

As a temporary solution, we recommend downgrading the plugin to the previous version until the fix is available.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

    Best Regards,
    Nebu John
