I’ve been referred here by pinterest support. I recently converted all variable products to simple products for usability. The pinterest feed is still showing the old number of products and as such our verified merchant status is in jeopardy as it is showing that less than 50% of our products are live on pinterest. This is not the case and all of our products are live. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks,
    Henry

    Hello @henrydunbar !
    Thank you for using WooCommerce!
Can you please let us know what the Pinterest team mentioned and how they concluded that the issue is on our end?
That will help us understand the issue better!
Also, which versions of the Pinterest and WooCommerce plugins are you using?
Can you also send us your site’s URL and point out how the products look there VS in the Pinterest feed?
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Katerinaz,
Of course. They didn’t exactly expand upon it other than telling me that this is where i need to go and the issue is not their problem as it is with the plugin feed file.
Plugin and woocommerce are both up to date.
It’s just that the feed file is still including instances for all the variations which are no longer present. So the feed shows 1700 products but the website only has 530. The URL is getstamped.co.uk.
    Many thanks,
    Henry

    Hi there @henrydunbar ??

Thank you for reaching back, with further information on this!

    The URL is getstamped.co.uk.

I went ahead with checking the source code of the site, and it appears you are using the Pinterest for WooCommerce plugin.

Can you go ahead with following our step-by-step troubleshooting instructions here, please?

Let us know how it goes! We will be standing by for your response.

    Hi Pepe,
Thank you. So i’ve done that but it’s exacerbated the problem. It now says it has written 3492 products to the feed! We only have 547 products over all. They are nearly all simple products. We have no variable products.
    Many thanks,
    Henry

Sorry just to add to this with some more context. Before it was 1746 so it is now exactly double what it was before.

    Hello @henrydunbar,

Seems like we’ll need to have a closer look. Could you please open a ticket about this from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support?

Make sure to include a link to this thread, so we know what has been done already.

    Cheers!

Has a solution been found for this issue yet? I’ve also encountered a similar situation. Thank you!

    Hi 2ndCapricorn,
Only sort of. I went into the database itself and deleted all the orphaned variations there. It was possible to do as we had literally converted all variable products to simple products so there was less chance of error. But i’m afraid that was the best i came up with. The good news is that it did work.

Hi Henry, thank you for your response. My entire website consists of simple products. I have 850k products, but the plugin generates a feed file with up to 8 million products (I stopped and reconnected to Pinterest to regenerate the feed file). My text editor cannot open the entire file, but I can view the beginning of the file. At the beginning, all the information is correct, but the shipping fee in the latter part is not accurate as per what I have set up in WooCommerce.
