Hi, AdRotate is not compatible with any cache plugin. It rotates the images via php. but the cache plugins save the page as a static html file so php does not work. Therefor, AdRotate does not work either.

Is this plugin compatible with AdRotate?
No, it is NOT compatible with AdRotate.

Wow, that is some bad news. I have never heard this issue of every caching plugin having an issue with, what seems like, every ad serving tool out there. What solutions do we have to get some caching going?

    Anyone have a solution/work-a-round?

    Thanks guys,
    Mike

Just did a little digging and found this:

    “Enable caching support for AdRotate

AdRotate has basic support for the popular W3 Total Cache. Which you can enable in AdRotate settings. The developers of WP-Rocket have informed me that AdRotate works with their plugin, too. No configuration required according to them.

Enabling caching support is as easy as enabling a checkbox in AdRotate Settings. After you’ve enabled W3 Total Cache support you need to clear your websites cache so your choice can be cached. This will allow adverts to rotate as intended.”

    on this page: https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/caching-support/

Does that give you any food for thought Emre, and perhaps a solution that would get your plugin working with AdRotate. Would love to keep using your plugin.

Also, when I dug into the settings for AdRotate, I found this little potential gem.

“Caching support only works for [shortcodes] and the AdRotate Widget. If you use a PHP Snippet you need to wrap your PHP in the exclusion code yourself.”

Is there a way I can “exclude” my AdRotate code on the site?
And do you think it will work if I check “I am using W3TC” eventhough I am using your caching plugin? Just a hope/thought.

Sorry, adrotate is not compatible with fastest cache.

Would be nice to see compatibility in the future ??

.. is this the same issuedwith my ad injection plugin at the sidebar?
    For example at https://zitate-welt.com ?

I am facing issues with adinjection if i use the new “rendered” mode.

The developer of Adrotate should make his own plugin to be compatible with cache plugins.

I ended up using another banner plugin called Banner Ads Rotator and used it with Notification Box Plugin (https://www.notificationbox.com) so the ads are displayed in a popup box.

They all work fine with Fastest Cache.

    Uyumsuz olmas?n? anlayabiliyorum ancak ben bu eklentinin yaln?zca banner yerle?tirme ?zelli?ini kullan?yorum. (Rotate ?zelli?ini kullanm?yorum.) Eklentinin aktif olmas? cache’yi a?may? engelliyor. Bunu a?man?n bir yolu var m??

    maalesef. Yaln?zca banner yerle?tirme i?ini tema dosyalar?n? de?i?tirerek de yapabilirsiniz.

    Adrotate yeni sürümünde cache deste?i geldi. Art?k bu uyar?y? kald?r?r m?s?n?z?
