    Hello,
I have an issue when trying to use long paths (endpoints),
    for example – myaccount/orders and myaccount/affiliate-dashboard works.

But when I try to click on the next button on the orders page and move to “myaccount/orders/2” and when I try to click on a tab in my affiliate plugin and move to “myaccount/affiliate-dashboard/commissions” it leads me to an empty page only with my header and footer.

It didn’t happen when I used the original myaccount page but I tried to use custom styling and now it doesn’t work.

I tried almost everything and I couldn’t find a solution.

  • Hi @idokr,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re experiencing issues with long endpoint paths in your account.

As a first step, try resetting your permalinks by going to your WordPress dashboard, then navigate to Settings > Permalinks. Simply click on the “Save Changes” button to reset them.

If that doesn’t solve the issue, try to temporarily remove it and see if the problem persists. This will help us identify if the custom styling is indeed the cause of the issue.

Should neither of these suggestions work, there might be a plugin conflict. Try disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and the affiliate plugin to see if the issue persists. Please be sure to have a backup in place to avoid messing with your site. You can also make the tests on a staging site for easier testing.

Please let us know how this goes.

    Hi @ckadenge,
    Thank you for your answer,
I tried your first solution on the Settings > Permalinks,
I changed the theme back to Hello-Elementor,
and also I disabled all the plugins except the affiliate and woocommerce plugins but I still couldn’t access the long endpoints.
I also tried to create custom endpoints on the functions.php file and it didn’t work either.

Hello @idokr are you using a hyphen? There’s a hyphen in between my-account. You’re showing us myaccount. Make sure you are using the correct slug please.

    Hello idokr,

    Thank you for your reply.

To better understand the origin of the problem, could you share full-page screenshots of these pages?
    /my-account/orders/
    /my-account/orders/2

Please note that as per forum guidelines, we can only assist you with issues that are happening with core WooCommerce features. 3rd party plugins and custom-coded features are not covered by our support policy.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

@idokr Why were you unable to override the styling? Better question is, what are you trying to do style wise to any of those endpoints? It really just comes down to hooking and css for styling those without messing with the slugs.

    Hi,
@serafinnyc I bought a theme and wasn’t able to edit the menu and the style for some reason I don’t remember so I tried to create a new menu using a new slug, now I changed it back to my-account however I still face this issue, I wonder maybe I have to change it back in a few different locations which I don’t remember?

@doublezed2 Before changing it back to my-account (from myaccount) it showed “page not found”,
    Now it shows the following:
    /my-account/orders – https://postimg.cc/w71qtkHr
    /my-account/orders/2 – https://postimg.cc/9w46fJTt

@idokr the my account menu you mean or the main WP menu? Make sure you don’t have any redirect apps enabled. I’m not sure what or why you have an /order/2

Also go back and resave permalinks. As my colleague @doublezed2 stated we can’t really help much in this forum for customization per guidelines. You are best to reach out to us on Slack

    Hey, @idokr!

when I try to click on a tab in my affiliate plugin and move to “myaccount/affiliate-dashboard/commissions” it leads me to an empty page only with my header and footer.

Have you reached out to the plugin’s support so they can take a look?

As my colleague @doublezed2 mentioned, we can only help with the core WooCommerce plugin here.

If you need help with the custom page, you can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

    Have a wonderful day!
