  • For the tweets that are embedded, try this:

    [embed]tweet url goes here[/embed]

    Hi:

I tried your solution, but using [embed][/embed] makes no difference as my theme automatically embeds the tweets with just using its url.

The problem is when the Quotable plugin is enabled the tweet gets embedded as a simple quote, as in the images of the first message.

    Thanks

Oops, you’re right! I didn’t have the plugin enabled like I thought I did and sure enough, it doesn’t matter if it’s just the plain URL or placed between an embed tag.

Hi @osckar sorry for the delayed response. I’ve been traveling without internet access for a few days.

Basically, what the plugin is doing is converting anything inside blockquote tags into plain text, and stripping out any HTML tags inside. It looks like, in your case, it’s being applied after the theme.

The next release should fix that problem. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it out sometime this week.

    Hi!

I just installed the update, but the behavior is the same ?? I deactivated/activated the plugin and no change.

    Thank you

Interesting. Could you tell me what theme you are using so I can look into this further?
