Issue with embedded tweet with excerpts

Hello,

I have come across a problem and have not been able to solve the issue. When I change the status on a post from full post to an excerpt, the embedded tweet shows up as code on the main page. Once I go into the full article the proper form of the tweet shows up, however in the main page it is only code. I am wondering if there is a simple fix to this that I am unaware of.
