• Hello,

We experience some issues with Elementor (like logo can’t be set anymore in different languages, templates don’t display correctly, pages don’t synchronize).

We reached out to the Polylang support and here’s the answer we got:

The compatibility between Polylang and Elementor is made by the Polylang Connect for Elementor plugin (developped by a 3rd party developper). Unfortunately some users reported us that the 3.1.x version of Elementor and Elementor Pro have broken the Polylang Connect for Elementor plugin (developped by a 3rd party developper) specialy the compatibility with the “display condition”.

That said, we never develop any code compatibility with Elementor and until Elementor 3.1, Polylang Connect for Elementor did the job, but it seems Elementor changed something in Elementor 3.1.
So it seems that your issue is linked to this latest version. Reverting to the 3.0.10 version (released on 2021-01-20) for Elementor Pro and 3.0.16 (released on 2021-01-06) for Elementor you should solve your issue.

Are you planning to release an update anytime soon?

Thanks for the information and your amazing plug-in!

  • I’m having the same problem. Has reverting to those versions solved this for you?

Just the problem with the permalink 404 for unattached media files…

Hi, i’m having issues with Elementor version 3.1.4 as well – i have lost menu fuctionality and some site images are missing as well. I have updated WordPress to 5.7 and all various plugins on the site as well without any issues.
When i reinstall Elementor version 3.0.9 everything is fine again – any version above Elementor version 3.0.9 – i have the same issues as above.

This problem should be fixed with the last update of Polylang Connect for Elementor (1.0.5). You can check it?

Note: after update Polylang Connect for Elementor need to update one theme builder template to regenerate all display conditions.

    Hi Pacotole,

Thanks for the update. We updated your plug-in and the Elementor plug-ins in a staging environment and updated one theme builder template.

However, when refreshing the page, the display condition is lost again (no display condition set).
