Issue with duplicating pages with Nested Pages plugin
-
Hi there – I’m evaluating the Beaver Builder lite plugin before purchasing a full license.
I’m also using the Nested Pages plugin. It’s a great page management plugin, providing a nice UI to much more easily and efficiently manage pages, parent/child nesting, etc.
One of its features is cloning/duplicating existing pages. If I clone a page that I used Beaver Builder to build, the resulting cloned page loses all the BB content I’d added to the original, and additionally throws a PHP error too.
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/beaver-builder-lite-version/classes/class-fl-builder-model.php on line 2972
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/beaver-builder-lite-version/classes/class-fl-builder-model.php:2972) in /home/username/public_html/wp-admin/post.php on line 197
I just wondered if you could shed any light. Would you say this is expected behaviour? I’d have hoped everything would have been carried across to the copy.
I also tried another plugin which clones pages – Duplicate Posts – but this had a similar problem too.
To be clear: I fully understand that Beaver Builder makes it easy to load pre-saved templates into new pages. But that’s not the same as cloning the entire page, along with all its other non-BB-related settings too. And Nested Pages provides other really useful functionality as well, but its ‘Clone Page’ button is pretty prominent and isn’t able to be turned off. This will confuse my clients, no doubt. ??
Thanks for your help.
