• When i do a dry run it goes to admin-php or something like that and gives a 404 error. So i could not see what it would change. Then i also ran it live and it gives a 404 error on completion. I checked and it did make changes but i was unable to see what they were. I need that to work as I am shocked it does not.

I would like to know what it fixed as I know some of the fields missed was in the wp_options and was serialized. I would like to have known for sure. But it does the job so far. I am still testing. Is there a log somewhere that shows what was changed and where ?

  • Hi,

There’s no permanently stored log (once you run the search/replace it will store the results temporarily and then mark them for deletion. The fact you were getting a 404 error when running a dry/live run seems to indicate that a URL might have been replaced/set incorrectly.

Not sure- you’re the first person to report such an issue. Can you confirm if the 404 issue is repeatable? Does it also happen if you run the search on just one table?

yes it happens on just one table. I can not find an email address to show you the issue. I have it on my development board which has not had anything changed.

    Hi,

Feel free to shoot an email with more details to support@expandedfronts.com, I’d be happy to take a look at this further.
