Issue with Domain Mapping and Sucuri

Hi,

I am running a multisite with just two sites (same site, one version in English and the other in Spanish) and before we set up Sucuri Firewall everything was working fine.

We had Sucuri set up only on the main domain https://www.companyname.com. I had already created the second site using subdomain es.companyname.com which worked fine. After sucuri firewall was up and running I was having problems with accessing the visual editor.

I asked Sucuri to look into this and they change the settings to a wildcard domain so that it would cover my subdomain. But now whenever I go to the subdomain its redirects to the main domain. I am managing to see some of the subdomain wp admin here but its missing all the css etc.

To complicate things the domain registration is with GoDaddy and hosting with Bluehost. As I could not change name servers on the domain due to other settings being used, I have the @ record in GoDaddy for the main domain pointing to Sucuri and on the hosting server I created a wildcard subdomain.

The question I have is: should the Server IP Address in the Domain Mapping Configuration point to the IP address (it’s a dedicated IP address) for the hosting server or the Sucuri IP address?

Another question I have which might be out of your remit is: should I have a wildcard subdomain also created in GoDaddy pointing to Sucuri IP or the hosting server ip?
