Issue with deleting /cache/tmp file
-
I am getting this error message:
“Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS/JS minify cache: No sources to serve” image
I clicked “hide message” and now when I go to the W3 Total Cache dashboard or the Plugins page I am getting the following:
“FTP credentials don’t allow to delete folder /var/www/html/wp-content/cache/tmp”
Also:
“W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation. Please execute commands manually or use FTP form to allow W3 Total Cache make it automatically.” image
Under “View required changes” “Execute next commands in a shell: rm -rf /var/www/html/wp-content/cache/tmp” is displayed. I have tried executing the indicated command but that doesn’t resolve the issue. Also after this issue occurred when I try to install a plug-in it fails with “Could not create directory”. The permissions for the wp-content and plugins directory is 755. The permissions weren’t changed from 755 either before or after the issue developed. Any help appreciated.
