Issue with Default Map Location Settings Not Updating to Sri Lanka

    Hello,

    I am encountering an issue with the Geo My WP plugin. I have configured the following settings to set the default map location to Sri Lanka:

    • Changed the Default Region to “Sri Lanka.”
    • Updated the Default Latitude and Longitude to coordinates for Sri Lanka (latitude: [6.9271], longitude: [79.8612]).

    However, the map still shows New York as the default location instead of Sri Lanka. It seems the changes to the default region and coordinates are not being reflected on the map.

    Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

    Hi @ruwanwijayasundara1 and @gerbz29,

    Are you referring to the map in the Location form on the Edit Post page?

    To clarify:

    1. The Default Latitude and Default Longitude settings in the Settings page of GEO my WP only affect the map on the Edit Post page. These settings do not influence any maps displayed on the front-end of your site.

    2. The?Default Region?setting does not determine the default location of the map. Instead, it is used solely for geocoding purposes.
