I am having issues with the message about deactivation appearing on my plugins page after I have deactivated and re-activated this plugin. I am running the latest version and do not have any other issues or outstanding WordPress updates.

The message is slightly off screen in a normal zoom and if I change the zoom in my browser, I can see it all but the two options are not clickable.

“Submit and Deactivate” and “Skip and Deactivate”

Note that these messages are ONLY appearing when the plugin is ACTIVATED. Screenshots as below:

    Normal View
    Zoom View

Please help me with how to remove this – I was thinking of possibly deleting and re-adding the plugin but don’t want that to cause me other issues if that is not a recommended way of trying to fix.

    Hi @achangeforbetter,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

Thank you for sharing the issue you’re facing with the deactivation message on your plugins page. We would like to review the screenshots you’ve provided.

To provide accurate assistance, could you please grant us access to your Drive? This visual aid will help me diagnose the issue and provide a suitable solution. You can share the screenshots via a link or provide access to the screenshots.

Additionally, before we proceed, can you please try deactivating all your plugins and see which plugin is causing the problem? Sometimes conflicts with other plugins can cause similar issues.

    Thanks & Regards

Thank you for the response. I granted the account that requested access the required access to both of these screenshots. Let me know if you are still unable to access.

I have attempted to troubleshoot by deactivating all plugins except for Timeline Widget For Elementor and I have found that when I deactivate :

    Elementor

Then the issue disappears. I cannot keep Elementor deactivated as this is the primary page builder I use for my site. So would be great if you are able to identify why there is this conflict. I enabled the Debug Log as well and there are no entries being logged their either.

I suspect the issue is somewhere in twae-admin-feedback-form.php and that it is incorrectly enqueing the form and/or did not record my response the first time around

My apologies as I have found the source of this issue now – it was a Cloudflare WAF rule.

I had a rule set up to block at requests that contained “/feed” in the URL. As your feedback form had the string “/feedback”, the rule was being triggered and the result was causing the feedback form to be partially displayed. I have adjusted my Cloudflare rule.
