Issue with customising

  • Hiya all,

    I have used Kahuna before and loved it. I have now been asked to move another site over to WordPress and want to use this theme again. This time I’m struggling to customize it:

    *I can’t change the header banner – I had added my image but the theme default header still shows.

    * I can’t get rid of the text on the header

    * The home page doesn’t use the layout I have chosen from the SiteOrigin Page Builder plug-in (page with right sidebar)

    *I can’t get rid of the content that on the Homepage – not sure where it’s coming from.

    Any help would be gratefully received.

  • Header banner is changed in Customize/Landing Page/Slider. Choose from drop down under Slider. Choose your image.
    Give the image captions, this changes the text on the header.
    Fill in your CTA buttons and links to those pages to change what is shown on the buttons.

    Content on the home page comes from Customize/Landing Page and the Pages and Posts you have set up in advance.
    Text areas are linked to pages. The pages will show up in the drop down box.
    Featured boxes are linked to categories on Posts. Set up posts with categories then link those to the featured boxes from Customize/Landing Page

    Use the Featured Image in Posts for the Images on the Boxes on the Home Page.

    Choose Customize/Landing Page/Settings to choose your page setting for using the Landing Page or use the default WordPress page.
    Customize/Layout to chose what you want your site to use for pages/posts and home page.
