Issue with custom tax

    Hi,

    I’ve create custom taxonomy with CPT UI plugin but I’ve an issue with template display.

    Indeed like you can see on link, The taxonomy-slug title isn’t appear, I’ve “archive” instead.

    Also, the sidebar is not display. I don’t know why…

    I just need to have the same rendered like category or tags pages. How can I do ??

    You’re going to want to check your theme files, and I’m not sure if this is a custom theme or a purchased one.

    There may be settings for these things if a premium theme, but if just a custom one, then I suspect that the archive.php file is being used here, and possibly there being files like category.php and tag.php that are coded in the way you’re wanting.

    Hi Michael,

    thanks for answer.
    The theme used is biagiotti by theme forest, that’s not a custom theme. I use a child theme to custom it but it’s not really like we say custom theme.

    I’ve already contact the support team but they can’t help me because “they’re here to help users for installation” …

    And I don’t think there is any options in back office because I’ve already take time to check this.

    I use plugins to see what template is used but the first tell me woocommerce.php and the other say taxonomy-marque.php (my custom file).

    I’m sure taxonomy-marque.php isn’t used because I insert some alert/h1 etc to know when he’s use and they’re not appear.

    If someone has any ideas, I take it …

    It’s definitely feeling like an archive based on the classes appended to the body tag:

    <body class="archive tax-marque term-najel term-341...

    However, I’m also seeing woocommerce woocommerce-page for some classes as well. I’m not familiar with Biagiotti theme at all, and that response from their support feels…short. This is still definitely something they should be helping with more than us, since CPTUI don’t handle theme/template customizations. That’s all on the theme itself.

    Not sure what to suggest here, beyond that.
