Issue with Content Block & Thrive Themes

  • I’m trying to use the Content Block plugin with Thrive Themes/Thrive Architect page builder.
    They have builder widget that displays recent posts on any page. WHen that is setup for the home page and I have your plugin enabled the Pages Sidebar area shows the same content as the Post list if the Do Not Apply Content Filters option is off. If I turn it on then the correct content shows but without the image that is embedded in the post.

    On regular pages and posts the Content Block plugin works perfectly. The support team at Thrive Themes is looking into it but they asked for you check it out as well.

    Unfortunately there is no easy fix for this. If you disable the Content Filters, this leaves out all paragraph tags and other formatting but if you keep it enabled there is something from the theme interfering. This is an issue that occurs with quite a few themes and I don’t see a solution from my end for that. Hopefully the support team at Thrive Themes can find a solution (you’ll probably have to use another plugin for the content blocks, or use a regular text widget).
