  • Hi Maximaro,

Thanks for hopping in the forum. We’ve seen this issue before and there are a few things you can try to fix it.

First make sure it’s not a local issue. Try connecting from another browser, then clear the cache and cookies in the browser. Then check on another computer on another network.

If that doesn’t work, make sure your wordpress install isn’t in maintenance mode. Lastly, temporarily disable all other plugins, leaving just the MailChimp plugin active, then try to reconnect.

If following those steps doesn’t work, feel free to let us know.

    Hi there,

I’ve connected from three browsers on two separate networks in different locations, as well as all the other steps. None of which work.

    Hey Maximaro,

Just to clarify, are you seeing any error messages when trying to log in? If there aren’t seeing any error messages, there could be something on your host interrupting the connection between your wordpress install and MailChimp. To fix this, ask your host to whitelist traffic to and from https://sopresto.socialize-this.com, 50.97.194.22 and 50.23.108.137.

If that fails, we also have a few other suggestions in this previous thread that might be worth checking out:

Let us know if you continue to have problems after whitelisting.

How would i proceed with this – would it be have to through the hosting company’s end or is this something that I can do?

    Hey maximaro,

If you aren’t seeing any error messages within WordPress while trying to log in, the next steps mc_d mentioned would be handled on the hosting company’s side. Some hosts may allow for administrative control by the user, but some may require contacting their support for the control to be handled on their end. The whitelisting would need to be something done at the host level, though.

If you have further questions, please let us know!

    -Gabe
