issue with configuration url

    hello,
    my language by default is french, second language english.
    when I choose Choose Pre-Path mode and check box to “Hide URL language information for default language.” this one still appears and the page is totally blank in french because URL still have /fr, the english page works.
    I aslo must set personnalise permalink to check the box pre path and the problem is that I must use “setting by default” in order all my links works in original version.
    How to have acces to pre path mode with permalink sets by default and that my pages in french and english open well ?

    because URL still have /fr

    Delete cache and cookies to access the website clean.

    I must use “setting by default” in order all my links works in original version.

    Setting by default in Permalinks switches off Pre-Path mode.
    If you use Pre-Path mode the links with default ?page_id=597 still works to the right page.
