Issue with Complianz, Fluent Forms and Google reCaptcha v2

    I oberve the same thing. When activating “Marketing” cookies, the placeholder disappears but the recaptcha box does not appear (the usual iframe is not loaded) (there is simply white space).

    Note that this issue raises using FluentForms. Unblocking a “manual” recaptcha v2 implementation works fine with Complianz.

    We are using FluentForm 5.0.7 and Complianz 6.5.2. Obviously, a compatibility between Fluent Forms and Complianz would be pretty handy. Thanks a lot!

    (Please note that reCaptcha v3 is not an option for us.)

    Hi @sfrechen,

    The integration between WP Fluent Forms and Complianz indeed does not support the use of ReCaptcha v2. Adding ReCaptcha v2 to the form whilst blocking ReCaptcha in Complianz would prevent the form from being sent.

    You would either have to switch to v3, which works fine, or disable the ReCaptcha integration under Complianz -> Integrations to allow the form to be sent as expected. Alternatively; you could opt to switch to another spam-protection service, such as CloudFlare Turnstile or hCaptcha.
