We have an online store WP+external app
whenever customers try to pay they are blocked.
We have regex’d the URL’s, the traffic inspector shows on the same line:
    “HTTP 403 Forbidden” “URL whitelisted”

    then
    “Multiple suspicious activities were detected”
    “Spam form submission denied”

When we look at the request details it has absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.

We have to manually whitelist all customers who are looking to make payments, request whitelists doesn’t work as customers are blocked anyway. Please advise.

I need more details. Can you please reproduce the issue and take a screenshot of those rows with

“HTTP 403 Forbidden” and “URL whitelisted”.

Please note: if you see a false positive “Spam form submission denied” in the log, you need to configure an exception for the anti-spam engine instead: https://wpcerber.com/antispam-exception-for-specific-http-request/

    Dear Gregory,

It’s been almost 4 weeks to get an answer from WP Cerber regarding this question. We disabled WP-Cerber as it clearly was having issues AND apparently all we can hope from the development team is total oblivion for weeks on end. This is even insulting honestly, is anyone encouraged even to pay for this when a simple support request has to be forcibly made here, and with this level of attention to customer’s requests?

We have whitelisted the uri’s both at Traffic Inspector > Request Whitelist AND Anti-spam > Query Whitelist.
Where are we supposed to put the “screenshot”? Here, publicly?

Plugin developers have no obligation to help anybody for free. Free software does not include free support. You get software for free and now you require free support with a private solution to handle your screenshots. That’s weird. Anyway, there is a guide that helps you to avoid blocking an external app: https://wpcerber.com/firewall-http-requests-are-being-blocked/

“Plugin developers have no obligation to help anybody for free” ahahah I’m making that my signature at the forums with a link to here. This was absolutely priceless.

AND NO – you don’t have any OBLIGATION to do it “for free” … you have the obligation to be polite to your potential customers, to be respectful, to have the “door” open and means of communication even if to say “we can’t help you”.

Your reply alone speaks volumes. It is an official response from the plugin author. I do buy a lot of software, but after this sad introduction of yourself we’ll make sure to find another solution. And let everybody know what kind of people is behind WP Cerber and how you treat potential customers. Absolutely ridiculous.

You are not my client, neither our “potential customer”. Your marketingish yet toxic claims can impress anybody but me. And yes, you can call anything and anyone ridiculous as long as it makes you happy. I do not mind.
