Issue with Canonicals

  • Given the plugin is creating a subfolder to host all the AMP versions of each page on my site this is triggering a canonical issue inside the Google Search Console called “Alternate page with the proper canonical tag” when basically the canonical tag for the “/amp” version of the page is the same as the non-amp version of the page…How to prevent this?
