    Since the last update, the FAQ block isn’t showing bold text properly any more.

    Now, it says “u003cstrongu003e(this-bit-used-to-be-bold-text)u003c/strongu003e” in plain text.

    I have to manually go through and edit – removing the “u003cstrong003e” bits and making the text bold again. I have HUNDREDS of these throughout my site, please fix ASAP!

    Hi @abridgeeducamp,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us. Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.

    1. Revert to a backup of their previous database
    2. Load the backup of your site and roll back Spectra to 2.13.8
    3. Update to 2.14.0,
    4. Then perform the database update again.

    Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately restoring from backup is not an option, as this is a membership site with many active users – too much data would be lost. Please could you instruct on how to run the database update manually?

    Hi @abridgeeducamp,

    We have instructions in this guide for manual updating the database: https://wpspectra.com/docs/spectra-database-update-instructions/

    However, in your case, I would recommend you to wait for the new update as we are working on the task where user cannot restore the backup.
