    Hello.

First of all, thanks for the great plugin. It works well, it is fast, simple and it is good to make quick tasks.

I used it to make a slider with recent posts. It looks well in desktop, looks like everything is in place. But when I see it on mobile screen, the second and third slide get out of the place, image doesnt crop correctly (all images are the same size) and text get out of the width lenght. I thought it was weird as every slide is setup in one configuration.

I’m struggling with this for a while but couldn’t find out any reason for this happens. I appreciate if you have any thoughts or find out any issue with this functionality.

    Thanks.

    Hi @rafaelzrt

The problem on the last slide on mobile seems to happen because the “No wrap” is enabled on the Heading layer: https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1814-heading-layer
This prevents the text from breaking to more lines when there’s not enough space for the whole text to fit.

As as start I recommend turning off the No wrap.

I can also see some fix height on the image layer on all slides, set at layer window > Style tab:
    https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1812-layer-style#default-size
    I recommend removing that size.

The other difference I can see on the last slide is that the vertical align on the Content layer seems to be set to bottom (at least on mobile), while on the other slides it seems to be top:

I suggest checking that to ensure the aligns are the same on each slide.

    Hello @nextend_ramona
Thank you very much for your help.

The “No wrap” solved almost all problems.

The fix height on the images seems important for me on desktop. But with your tip I managed to edit for mobile, it looks better now.

I just don’t get it when you say “on the last slide” or “ensure the aligns are the same on each slide”. As it is an dynamic slider, I only configured one slide that gets the 3 most recent posts. So I edit only one slide and it effects all slides that will be loaded, right?

    Hi @rafaelzrt

I’m glad most problems worked out!

Yes, you’re absolutely right, in a dynamic slide’s case all alignments are the same, as editing the dynamic slide effect all generated slides.
I think I might have mislooked the alignment because of the fix height, which I might have not removed properly from each slides in the inspector.

The fix height on the images seems important for me on desktop.

Can you tell me why? What happens if you remove the fix height?
The image layer works that way that it always has the same height as the image.

Or are you trying to make all images have the same size? You could replace this image with a row:
    https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1811-row
just delete one of the columns. Then put the picture as the row’s background. You can use paddings to set a height of this row. This way the rows would have the same height on each slide, so the images would have the same size, too.

Yes, I used the ‘fix height’ so all the images would be the same size and to be the same size of the Youtube column at the right.

I tried out the row’s background and it looks better now. Thank you very much for the help using the slider.
