Issue with billing fields
-
Hello there!
We have 2 minor issues with your plugin on one of our pages and would like to see if there is any fix, I think they might be related so putting them both here together but if you prefer to keep separated I can create two threads, no problem at all ??
1) Billing field marked as required on back-end shows as optional on front-end
Our checkout field “Province” (#billing_state) is marked on our settings as required but when checkout is loaded on live site it shows as optional.
As per the “Important: Read this before posting” post, I’m attaching relevant info for the field
– It’s a default WooCommerce Field
– Field type is “State”
– Belongs to Billing section
– No optional settings applied to the field apart from Label changed from “State” to “Province”2) Billing field doesn’t come up when changing countries
Our checkout field “Province” (#billing_state) which is marked as required, sometimes shows on the checkout and sometimes it doesn’t. This depends on the Country you select. For example, selecting Italy makes the “Province” (state) field show a dropdown, if you change country to Spain it turns into a text field and if you change country to Germany it just doesn’t come up, generating an error when submitting form as field is required.
Many thanks, any information needed please don’t hesitate to ask.
