issue with base wp 1.31 child theme

    Since I updated to 1.31 I am no longer able to see images mounted with short code ore the regular way inside a post.
    When I am in the blog roll I am able to see the images but when I click on the post-title and enter the post by itself there is no longer any images there.
    I tried updating the core-framework folder of the child theme, without any results.
    Please can anyone help me I really need my site to be working.?

    I found the problem it looks like a bug.
    It has to do with the (Show excerpt)Show posts content as excerpt
    Inside the theme customization function…
    If I enable show excerpt on the blog roll it will disable it inside single posts.
    If I do the opposite and enable it inside the single post it’ll disable it on the blog roll…

    Please need help fixing this. I had to take my site off line just because of this.

    What was wrong with 1.29 it was just fine….

    Hi, i will check the error,
    please explain me better, when you enable except in theme’s options what is disabled?

    I enabled them inside the theme customisation section.

    Hello again.
    Small update, even if I do not use child themes, the problem persists.

    I added a few more screenshots of the customization screen and different settings https://dev.rostamzandi.se/2015/10/16/1234/
    It is hard to describe the problem…
    Basically I want the photos to be visible in that blog roll and in single page / post…

    I decided to rollback to version 1.29 have a look there on how I wanted to look and function rostamzandi.se

    Sorry for the bad description of the problem I’m not exactly professional ??

    I hope it is fixable cause I am really looking forward to 1.32 so I can use the new functions…

    Ok, i think that the problem is that “show excerpt” option adds the automatic excerpt for the posts and the images, by default in the_excerpt function, are not displayed. If you want to display the images in the post content you must uncheck the show excerpt option and write manually your excerpt.
    In the theme version 1.29 simply the show excerpt option is not included.

    What do you mean by “and write manually your excerpt”?

    In the post you can see a panel called “Excerpt”, write your excerpt there. Also if the full post content is enabled if you write your custom excerpt for each post it will be displayed.

    Ah ok…
    Is there any other way to fully disabled the Excerpt on all the posts, like it used to be before the update?

    Yes, you must simply uncheck the “show excerpt” option
