• Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with the article count and display in WordPress. Here are the details:

    • In the “All Posts” section, it shows a total of 954 articles.
    • Within these 954 articles, the breakdown is as follows:
      • 918 Published
      • 36 Drafts
      • 12 “Mine” (I don’t know what this category means, and nothing appears when I click on it).

    However:

    • When I click on “Drafts,” only 7 articles are displayed, even though WordPress indicates there are 36.
    • The 12 articles under the “Mine” category do not display at all when I click on it.

I have already tried the following steps without success:

    1. Clearing the WordPress cache.
    2. Checking the filters applied in the article list view.

Could you please help me understand:

    1. Why there’s a discrepancy between the indicated number of drafts and the ones actually visible?
    2. What the “Mine” category means and why no articles appear under it?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Best regards,

  • Hi @theginaddict

Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing that problem.

Could you please help me understand:

    1. Why there’s a discrepancy between the indicated number of drafts and the ones actually visible?
    2. What the “Mine” category means and why no articles appear under it?

The answer for question 1, it depends.

    Here’s what I’d suggest:

    • Clone your site into staging:
      • Update the WordPress plugin to the latest version
      • Disable all other plugins except WordPress
      • Install a plugin that can do database repair, optimization
      • optimize and repair your WordPress install then check if the problem is still there or not

For question 2, for “Mine” category, I can’t really replicate that problem. So please complete the above steps, as it should also help find out whether this is problem related to core WordPress or comes from additional plugins.

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!
