Issue with API not working

  • It is pretty weird, the API only works when you totally de-activate the plugin on the plugin page. Disabling elements of the ‘simple firewall’ plugin does not work.

    yea, that’s weird… I’ll see if I can get the api up and running and ask you more once I see it in action myself.

    I’ve got a few simple tests up and running with the basic foundational API that comes with WordPress 4.4 and it’s working with me. I can run requests against the API without issue.

    When you say it doesn’t work, do you get any errors, or messages of any sort?

    I’ve just implemented tests against the API and the extensions provided by the JSON API plugin and successfully updated a post title and other data using Basic Auth. I so far see no issues, so the more info you can provide, the better. Perhaps it’s not mixing well with another plugin?
