Issue with “Allowed Email”

Hi,
It looks like “Allowed emails” on Usage Restriction tab not working properly.
I assigned a coupon to one of our customer’s email and next day, someone else used the code with a different email.1. I don’t know how how other customer found out the generated code.
2. The code worked bypassing the restriction ruleI also tested on two different emails and I could use the code with non-assigned email address.
Could you please check if this is a glitch?
Update: So I found the reason why.
Person who purchased, used a different email at checkout but his login email matches with the assigned email. Still don’t know how I was able to apply the coupon when I tested with with different emails. Shouldn’t it give error message if the login email doesn’t match the assigned email?
