Hi, we’re having an issue with a third party plugin that when posting to admin-ajax.php when not logged in, it causes it to fail and redirect to the front page. Any suggestions on how to keep the hidden backend URL from visitors but make an exception for this plugin? Thanks

    Hi @blazeconcepts,

    Thanks for reaching out.

You get the redirect when you change the admin-ajax.php path or wp-admin path to secure the ajax.

    1. A solution is to let the admin-ajax.php unchanged and don’t hide the wp-admin or, to set the new ajax path in the other plugin so that the calls should be made correctly.

    2. Whitelist the IP at Brute Force settings if you know the call source to be able to access the ajax path from that IP.
