    Hello Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out because I’ve encountered a bit of a snag with WP Job Manager and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) integration, specifically regarding post cloning.

    Here’s the situation: I’ve set up ACF fields to capture certain data in WP Job Manager posts, and everything works smoothly until I clone a post. After cloning, I find that the cloned post doesn’t allow me to publish it.

    It seems that the ACF field data isn’t properly carried over to the cloned post, leading to this publishing issue. I’ve double-checked my configurations and couldn’t find any obvious missteps.

    For clone post, I used yoast duplicate post plugin.

    After adding classic editor plugin, It’s working fine. So…

    Hello there,

    For the ACF fields not being cloned, it sounds like something that’d need to be set up in the plugin used for cloning (Yoast Duplicate Post). Could also be worth trying alternative duplicate plugins.

    For the publishing issue, our built-in duplicate function used in the job dashboard has a list of meta fields that are not copied to the new post. I’d try adding this to the ‘Do not copy these fields’ option in Yoast Duplicate Post and see if that’d resolve the issue.

    The fields are: _filled, _featured, _job_expires, _job_duration, _package_id, _user_package_id, _edit_lock, _submitting_key, _tracked_submitted, _tracked_approved
